Characters


Muniya/Rajkumari Manyata - is a 20 year old, poor girl with a kind heart and a driven personality. She was raised by Murari, a man who she believed was her father. Muniya/Manyata is usually seen wearing Salwar-Kameez (an Indian dress) and braids her medium, black hair.

Akash Verma - is a neat, young man and is financially middle class. He is an assistant manager at a mall in Mumbai. Akash is usually seen wearing button down shirts with formal pants and has black hair.

Yuvraj Udayveer (or Uday) - is a devilish, handsome young man. Uday is the Rajkumar of Devghar and is close friends with the Singh family. He is usually seen wearing designer clothing and has black hair.

Rajkumari Jaynandini (or J) - is a spoiled, bratty and beautiful Rajkumari. She is the younger daughter in the royal Singh family. J is usually seen wearing designer clothing (dresses, skirts, etc.) and has wavy black hair.

Rajmata Mrinalini Devi - is a kind, caring and responsible queen. She is the grandmother of the princesses, Manyata and Jaynandini, and is the mother of Maharaj Brijraj and Mainka Singh. Rajmata is usually seen wearing Indian saris and ties her black hair in a bun.

Maharaj Brijraj - is a high tempered, ignorant and strict king. He is the son of Rajmata Mrinalini Devi and the Maharaj of the Singh family. Brijraj is married to Komal Devi and has two daughters, Manyata and Jaynandini. He is usually seen wearing multi-colored business suits and has black hair with a beard.

Komal Devi - is a relaxed and kind Maharani. She is the daughter of an unnamed Maharaj, and belongs to a royal family too. Komal is married to Maharaj Brijraj and has two daughters, Manyata and Jaynandini. She is usually seen wearing bright, Indian saris and ties her black hair in a bun.

Murari Lal - is a kind, careful and caring watch man/security guard. He kidnapped Muniya/Manyata when she was three years old. Murari is usually seen wearing a grey watch man uniform and is half bald.

Doctor Saab - is a responsible and caring doctor. He works for Rajmata and almost always completes his tasks. Doctor Saab is usually seen wearing business suits and has blackish grey hair.

Maharaj Giriraj - is a devilish, inattentive king. He is the Maharaj of Jaighar, and the father of Udayveer and Unatti. Giriraj is usually seen wearing business suits and is completely bald.

Rajkumari Unatti - is an understanding and intelligent princess/Rajkumari. She is the younger sister of Udayveer and dislikes Jaynandini, since J is spoiled. Unatti is usually seen wearing western dresses (sometimes Indian dresses, too) and wears her long black hair open.
